Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented Academic Counselor to guide prospective students in selecting the right academic programs. The ideal candidate should have experience counseling students for professional courses such as MBBS, B.Tech, MBA, and BBA, handling admission inquiries, and achieving enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, and career opportunities.
- Provide detailed information about MBBS, B.Tech, MBA, BBA, and other undergraduate/postgraduate courses.
- Understand students' academic background, career aspirations, and recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up with leads generated through digital marketing, walk-ins, referrals, and other sources.
- Convert inquiries into successful admissions by providing effective counseling and guidance.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with admission, documentation, and finance teams to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
- Assist students with application forms, document verification, and admission formalities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission cycle.
- Stay updated on admission policies, university regulations, scholarship opportunities, and market trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA is an added advantage).
- 2–5 years of experience in academic counseling or admission counseling.
- Experience counseling students for MBBS, B.Tech, MBA, BBA, or similar professional courses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
