The EHS Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing environmental, health, and safety policies to ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. The role focuses on preventing workplace accidents, promoting a strong safety culture, and minimizing environmental impacts.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare incident investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct risk assessments
- Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
- Organize toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness programs.
- Train employees on emergency response procedures and safe work practices.
- Promote safety culture throughout the organization.
- Monitor environmental compliance requirements.
- Ensure proper waste management and disposal practices.
- Monitor air emissions, wastewater discharge, and environmental impacts.
- Support sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.
- Maintain EHS records, permits, and statutory documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly EHS reports.
- Track safety performance indicators and compliance status.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
