Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and relationship-oriented Business Development Manager to lead school onboarding and partnership development for Sportzzbook’s In-School Sports Program.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying, pitching, onboarding, and managing partnerships with schools across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities School Partnership Development
- Identify and connect with schools for onboarding into Sportzzbook’s sports ecosystem
- Pitch Sportzzbook’s In-School Sports Program to school management and decision-makers
- Build relationships with:
- Principals
- School Directors
- Trustees
- Sports Coordinators
- School Management Committees
Sales & Business Expansion
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, references, and outreach
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and program demonstrations
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure
- Achieve monthly and quarterly onboarding targets
Program Coordination
- Coordinate internally with operations and coaching teams during onboarding
- Ensure smooth implementation of sports programs within schools
- Assist in planning sports activities, tournaments, and workshops
Market Intelligence
- Maintain database of schools, sports infrastructure, and decision-makers
- Track competitor activities and market opportunities
- Identify expansion opportunities in new territories
Relationship Management
- Build long-term strategic relationships with schools
- Ensure high partner satisfaction and retention
- Act as the primary point of contact for partnered schoolEligibility CriteriaRequired
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field
Preferred
- Experience working with schools or educational institutions
- Understanding of grassroots sports ecosystem
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Field sales experience preferred
- 2–5 years experience in: a). B2B Sale b). Institutional Sales c). EdTech Sale d). Sports Management e). School Partnership Programs
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
