Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive HR & IR Officer to manage plant-level Human Resources and Industrial Relations activities. The role involves recruitment, statutory compliance, employee relations, contract labour management, payroll coordination, employee engagement, training, and administration while ensuring compliance with labour laws and maintaining harmonious industrial relations. Manufacturing experience with exposure to factory HR and IR is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct employee onboarding, induction, and joining formalities.
- Maintain employee personal files, HR records, and HRIS.
- Coordinate attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.
- Support performance management and annual appraisal activities.
- Organize employee engagement programs, welfare initiatives, and recognition activities.
- Coordinate training programs and maintain training records.
- Prepare HR MIS reports and monthly dashboards.
- Execute end-to-end recruitment for plant positions.
Industrial Relations
- Maintain cordial employee and workmen relations.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Support domestic enquiries and disciplinary proceedings.
- Coordinate with contract labour contractors and monitor workforce deployment.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, including the Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, EPF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Liaise with government authorities whenever required.
- Maintain statutory registers, notices, licences, and compliance documentation.
Administration
- Support factory administration activities.
- Coordinate housekeeping, security, canteen, transport, and facility management vendors.
- Monitor contractor performance and statutory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and company procedures.
Qualification
- MBA (HR), MSW, MLW, PGDHRM, or equivalent.
- LLB (Labour Laws) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in HR & IR within a manufacturing or chemical industry.
- Experience in plant HR operations and industrial relations is essential.
Required Skills

Location: Sarigam, Gujarat
Working Days: 6 Days a Week
Pay: ₹380,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
