CMAI serves a large and growing membership base, providing networking, advocacy, trade fairs, and exclusive member benefits across the country.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and energetic Membership Marketing Executive to join our Membership Department. The primary focus of this role is to grow CMAI's membership base by acquiring new members and ensuring timely renewal of existing memberships. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both desk-based outreach and field visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively reach out to garment manufacturers, traders, and industry stakeholders to generate new membership leads.
- Conduct field visits to prospective members across Mumbai and surrounding areas to present CMAI's membership benefits.
- Follow up with existing members for timely renewal of memberships and address any concerns or queries.
- Maintain a database of active members, lapsed members, and prospects; update records regularly.
- Meet monthly targets for new member acquisition and renewal conversions.
- Coordinate with the Membership team to send renewal notices, reminders, and benefit updates.
- Represent CMAI at industry events, exhibitions, and trade fairs to promote membership.
- Prepare and share regular activity and conversion reports with the reporting manager.
- Assist in executing membership campaigns and promotional drives.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA / Marketing background preferred but not mandatory).
- 0–3 years of experience in field sales, marketing, or membership/business development roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi (preferred).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a target-driven role.
- Comfortable with on-field work and regular travel within Mumbai.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and email communication.
- Prior experience in an industry association, B2B sales, or trade body is an added advantage.
