The opportunity: ‘Engineer - Hardware PCB design’.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Strategic Responsibilities: -
We are looking for a skilled Senior PCB Design Engineer to manage the hardware development life cycle. This role requires a blend of theoritical circuit knowledge and hands-on manufacturing expertise. Will be responsible for translating complex requirements into reliable, manufacturable and testable PCB assemblies.
2. Functional Responsibilities –
1.Work closely with Hardware/RF/Mechanical engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate PCBs into larger systems and ensure compliance with project specifications.
2.Preferable should have hands on experience in Altium Designer tool.
Key attributes for success –
Should be a team player and coordinate with required stake holders to meet the project timeline and with below attributes.
1.Create and develop Schematics and PCB layouts and schematics using industrystandard software (e.g., Altium Designer) to ensure optimal performance and manufacturability.
2.Create and manage Altium library, including schematic symbols and footprints.
3.Conduct BOM scrubbing to ensure component availability and cost-effectiveness.
4.Design multi-layer PCBs(upto 8 layers) including High-Speed Digital, Analog and power circuits.
5.Manage advanced routing constraints(Differential pair, length matching and impedence control)
6.Knowledge on implementing HDI(High Density interconnect) strategies, including blind and buried vias.
7.To be able to verify manufacturing fabricator Liason generate comprehensive fabricator and assembly packages (Gerber, NC drill, BOM, pick place) and act as primary point of contact for external fabricators to resolve EQs.
8.Ensure all design meet DFM(Manufacturing), DFA(Assembly) and DFT(Testing) standards.
9.Standards: Knowledge on IPC-2221, IPC-7351 and IPC-6012.
10.Fabrication knowledge: Deep understanding on PCB stack-ups, copper weights and plating processes.

Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing(production) for debugging and issue resolution during pilot production.
Qualification: Diploma ECE/EEE or B.E/B.Tech ECE/EEE
5-7 years of experience
