We are looking for a Sales Lead to drive and scale this fast-growing vertical.
About the Role
This is a frontline, revenue-owning leadership role for someone who understands institutional sales deeply and has experience working with schools across India.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in STEM/robotics or innovative hardware sales into schools, existing relationships with school decision-makers, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing field sales team.
The role is based out of Noida and requires frequent travel across India to meet schools, close strategic accounts, and support on-ground business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Business Ownership
Own the revenue and growth targets for the STEM Lab vertical.
Drive high-value institutional sales from lead generation to closure.
Manage pipeline forecasting, deal closures, and overall business performance.
Institutional Sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with school owners, principals, trusts, and management bodies.
Personally drive strategic and large-ticket school partnerships.
Represent PW Academy in meetings, presentations, and business discussions with educational institutions.
Team Building & Leadership
Hire, train, mentor, and scale a field sales team.
Set targets, monitor performance, and drive team productivity.
Create a high-performance, execution-focused sales culture.
Market Expansion & Strategy
Identify new markets, territories, and growth opportunities.
Understand market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for sustainable business growth.
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Background
Prior experience in selling STEM labs, robotics solutions, AI labs, tinkering labs, or experiential-learning products into schools.
Alternatively, strong experience selling hardware or innovative classroom solutions to educational institutions.
Must-Have Skills
Strong network and relationships with school owners, principals, and institutional stakeholders.
Proven track record of closing high-ticket B2B/institutional deals.
8–10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the education ecosystem.
Experience leading and managing sales teams.
Strong ownership mindset with experience handling revenue targets or P&L.
Additional Qualities
Passion for education and technology-driven learning.
Curiosity and openness toward AI-first and innovation-led solutions.
Willingness to travel extensively across India.
