Responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment and manpower requirements for cinema theatre operations. The role involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating joining formalities, and maintaining recruitment records.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for cinema theatre staff.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, WhatsApp groups, referrals, walk-in interviews, and local recruitment.
- Recruit for positions such as Box Office, F&B/Café, Housekeeping, Security, Parking, Stores, Maintenance, IT, and Operations.
- Screen CVs and conduct initial HR interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with Department Heads / Management.
- Follow up with selected candidates until joining.
- Maintain daily and weekly recruitment trackers and manpower reports.
- Prepare and coordinate offer letters, joining documents, and employee records.
- Conduct new-joiner induction and orientation.
- Coordinate attendance, shift requirements, leave, and weekly-off information with theatre departments.
- Maintain an active candidate database for urgent and replacement requirements.
- Support employee engagement and basic HR activities.
- Handle employee queries and coordinate with management for HR-related issues.
- Ensure adequate manpower availability during weekends, holidays, and peak show timings.
- Support HR compliance, documentation, and other administrative activities.
Qualification
- Any Degree / MBA – HR preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in Recruitment / HR.
- Experience in Cinema, Hospitality, Retail, Restaurant, or Frontline Operations is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
- Strong sourcing, follow-up, coordination, and negotiation skills.
