Position: Purchase Executive

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Procure mechanical, electronic, and hardware components as per company requirements
- Release purchase orders to suppliers and share purchase order details with Stores and Quality departments as per purchase indents
- Develop vendors, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate prices annually for assigned materials
- Monitor market trends related to pricing, quality, and sourcing opportunities
- Identify and develop alternative suppliers to reduce cost and ensure uninterrupted supply
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials according to production schedules and lead times
- Conduct supplier audits and verification visits before finalizing purchase orders
- Guide suppliers on company quality standards and policies
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality Control, R&D, Accounts, and other departments for smooth procurement operations
- Issue AMC contracts along with machine purchase orders for different departments
- Follow up with suppliers regarding development activities and track progress regularly
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions when required
- Manage inventory control, order management, imports, and cost reduction activities
- Support supplier improvement through training and development initiatives
- Arrange prototype sample components on priority for the R&D department
- Plan and book raw materials based on production requirements and lead time analysis
- Maintain purchase records, documentation, and ERP updates accurately
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and procurement policies
- Provide support to line managers and department heads whenever required
- Handle additional responsibilities assigned by management from time to time
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of mechanical components, electronic parts, and hardware materials
- Good communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and analytical abilities
- Understanding of inventory planning, supplier development, and procurement processes
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
Pay: ₹10,806.23 - ₹37,227.68 per month
