Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic backend Developer with 0–2 years of experience to join our team. Important: The interview for this role will be conducted on location at our office on 22 Aug and 23 Aug.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend.
- Manage and maintain relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server) including schema design, queries, and stored procedures.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data validation best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production and development environments.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js runtime).
- Solid understanding of SQL databases (queries, joins, transactions, optimization).
- Experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of API design and integration.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Basic knowledge of error handling, logging, and debugging in backend systems.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):
- Experience with ORMs like Prisma / Sequelize / TypeORM.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
- Familiarity with Docker / containerization.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Understanding of security best practices (JWT, OAuth2, encryption).
- Experience with unit testing and test frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
