Qualification: Post Graduate qualification in Journalism, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or Digital Communication. Certification in Digital Marketing / Social Media Marketing (Meta, Google, or equivalent) preferred. MBA / PGDM candidates preferred.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and digitally savvy Senior Consultant – Social Media Crime Consultant to monitor, manage, and strengthen Odisha Police’s digital presence while proactively tracking online crime trends, misinformation, and public sentiment. The role requires expertise in social media management, digital analytics, and crisis response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily content posting, engagement, and community management across all social media platforms.
- Conduct 24×7 social listening using monitoring tools to track public sentiment, misinformation, anti-police narratives, and emerging social crime trends.
- Identify, flag, and support response mechanisms for misinformation and sensitive digital narratives.
- Coordinate with grievance teams for platform-based citizen complaints and escalations.
- Monitor and analyze key social media metrics including reach, engagement, sentiment, and follower growth, with bi-weekly reporting.
- Execute paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta and X, as directed.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Experience handling a minimum of 2 Odisha State Government clients or PSUs.
- Strong expertise in social media monitoring, digital communication, analytics, and online reputation management.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
