Job Description: Inside Sales Executive (Conference Sales)Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Inside Sales Executive to join our Conference Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving registrations and selling our premium author services to global academic researchers, scholars, and institutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive sales approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with domestic and international prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Engagement: Make outbound calls to researchers and academicians who have submitted papers or expressed interest in our upcoming conferences.
- Sales Conversion: Convert inbound and outbound leads into confirmed conference registrations.
- Service Upselling: Pitch comprehensive author services, including publication support, indexing assistance, and related academic solutions.
- Deal Closure: Effectively handle both domestic and international prospects, address queries, overcome objections, and successfully close deals.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a high conversion ratio across the entire sales lifecycle: Lead → Prospect → Registration.
- Database Management: Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales pipelines in the CRM system.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, outbound calling, telesales, or international business development (experience in academic publishing or conference sales is a major plus).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to converse smoothly with international clients.
- Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Work Ethics: Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
