About Udayan Care
Udayan Care is a nationally recognized NGO working towards the welfare of children, women, and youth through residential care, education, skilling, and aftercare initiatives. The organization supports young adults transitioning from Child Care Institutions towards independent living through structured rehabilitation, education, mentoring, and employability support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement Aftercare program activities for care leavers/youth.
- Provide mentoring, counselling, and rehabilitation support.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and beneficiary records.
- Liaise with government departments, Child Welfare Committees, NGOs, institutes, and employers.
- Support youth in education, skilling, placements, and independent living.
- Conduct workshops, life skills sessions, and follow-up meetings.
- Ensure timely reporting and smooth execution of program deliverables.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Sociology, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in the social development/child protection sector preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of JJ Act, child protection systems, and aftercare programs will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and report writing.
