Job Summary
Annai Group of Institutions is looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to maintain and ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems across the campus. The candidate will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment in classrooms, laboratories, hostels, offices, and other institutional facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance of electrical systems and campus infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly and safely.
- Maintain generators, UPS systems, lighting, pumps, motors, and other electrical equipment.
- Respond to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and institutional policies.
- Maintain maintenance logs and report major repairs to the maintenance supervisor.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff for campus infrastructure activities.
- Ensure efficient power utilization and support energy-saving initiatives.
Required Qualification
- ITI Electrician or
- Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE/Diploma in EEE).
Experience
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Experience in institutional, commercial, or industrial electrical maintenance will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with electrical safety procedures and preventive maintenance.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
