Zinnov is a global management consulting firm that helps organizations make decisions that actually get used — and deliver results that matter. For over two decades, we’ve partnered with leading enterprises, high-growth technology companies, and investors to answer some of the toughest questions they face:
Our work shapes market entry strategies, global operating models, M&A decisions, and long-term growth bets. We’re known for being data-led, execution-focused, and outcome-driven — not opinion-heavy slideware.
At Zinnov, how you work matters as much as what you deliver. We value independent thinking, crisp communication, and early ownership. With 450+ professionals across 10 global offices, we work across industries including Digital Services, ER&D, Enterprise Software, Semiconductors, Healthcare, BFSI, Automotive, Media & Telecom, and Private Equity.
Zinnov isn’t for everyone. It’s for people who want steep learning curves, honest feedback, and the chance to see their work influence real business decisions — not just presentations.
Why Globalisation Excellence (GE)
Zinnov’s Globalisation Excellence (GE) practice helps enterprises build and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) end-to-end — from Design & Discovery to Build, Scale, and Run.
In GE, you don’t work in silos. You:
- Own complex, end-to-end client journeys
- Work across GCC advisory, managed services, and BOT / outsourcing models
- Influence leadership decisions that shape long-term talent and operating strategies
This is where strategy meets execution — and where talent plays a defining role.
About the Role
As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Zinnov, you will lead complex, high-impact hiring mandates across product engineering and leadership roles. This is a role for recruiters who thrive on solving hard problems — niche skills, competitive markets, tight timelines — and who bring a solutioning mindset rather than a transactional approach.
You will operate as a trusted partner to hiring managers, internal project teams, and client stakeholders, owning hiring outcomes end-to-end. Beyond execution excellence, this role demands strong market understanding, proactive sourcing beyond job portals, and the ability to influence decisions through data, context, and credibility.
What You’ll Do
Niche & Leadership Hiring Ownership
- Own end-to-end hiring for niche, hard-to-fill, and leadership mandates with clear accountability for outcomes
- Build customized sourcing and execution strategies for complex requirements rather than relying on standard playbooks
- Drive predictable closures across senior individual contributor and leadership roles
Advanced Sourcing & Pipeline Building
- Source through a mix of job boards, referrals, vendors, and deep direct sourcing
- Build proactive pipelines beyond portals using platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and relevant talent communities
- Maintain strong pipeline hygiene with clear funnel visibility and engagement throughout the hiring lifecycle
Candidate Assessment & Role Selling
- Develop a deep understanding of job specifications — both technical depth and business context
- Translate role nuances into compelling, consultative candidate conversations
- Screen candidates rigorously while creating strong alignment and excitement for the opportunity
Stakeholder Partnership & Delivery
- Partner closely with hiring managers and interview panels to build trust, cadence, and structured decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams, project leads, and client SPOCs to ensure alignment, momentum, and timely closures
- Act as a senior TA partner, providing market insights, hiring recommendations, and execution clarity
Closure, Reporting & Execution Excellence
- Demonstrate consistent success in closing roles across levels, including leadership positions
- Drive strong offer management, negotiation, and offer-to-join conversion
- Own MIS and reporting — tracking productivity, funnel health, and outcomes with accuracy and discipline
- Meet or exceed TA metrics including productivity, diversity goals, and stakeholder satisfaction
Team Enablement & Mentorship
- Mentor and guide junior recruiters; support capability building and target achievement
- Contribute to best practices, process rigor, and continuous improvement within the team
What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (technical degree preferred)
- Master’s degree / MBA in HR, Learning & Development, or related fields preferred
- 6–10 years of experience in technical and/or product hiring in a results-driven environment
- Strong command of the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing to joining
- Prior experience recruiting for product engineering teams strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IT terminology, product roles, and emerging technology trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder influence
Key Skills
- Advanced sourcing expertise beyond job portals (direct sourcing, communities, referrals)
- Strong screening and role-selling capability with a consultative candidate approach
- Stakeholder management across hiring managers, interview panels, internal teams, and client SPOCs
- Proven closing strength — negotiation, offer management, and sustained candidate engagement
- Team leadership and mentorship capability
- Data-driven execution with strong MIS, funnel reporting, and insight-led problem solving
- High responsiveness, strong planning, and exceptional organizational discipline
- Ability to learn quickly and operate confidently in evolving technology domains
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent closure of niche and leadership roles within defined timelines and quality benchmarks
- Strong offer-to-join conversion with high candidate engagement through the hiring lifecycle
- High stakeholder confidence and satisfaction driven by clarity, responsiveness, and process rigor
- Reliable, decision-ready hiring dashboards and MIS
- Healthy, continuously refreshed talent pipelines built through proactive sourcing — not portal dependency
