Position: AI Engineer with Automotive Domain
Total experience: 3+ yrs
Desired Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience in Advanced Experience in Engineering of AI tools and solutions
Advanced experience with at least one programming language for scripting (e.g. Python)
Knowledge about automotive battery systems
University degree in computer science and ideally with focus on AI/ML or comparable degree (e.g. electrical engineering, physics, mathematics)
Develop and deploy AI/ML models for battery system analytics, including predictive maintenance, state-of-health estimation, and anomaly detection.
Design data pipelines and architectures to collect, process, and manage large-scale battery and manufacturing data from test benches, production lines, and in-vehicle systems.
Implement AI-driven optimization tools to improve manufacturing processes, quality assurance, cell/module selection, and throughput.
Collaborate with battery engineering teams to integrate AI models into different work products, digital twins, and simulation environments.
Evaluate and introduce new AI technologies, frameworks, and tools, ensuring compliance with automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, cybersecurity requirements).
Build and maintain MLOps workflows, including model versioning, automated retraining, monitoring, and cloud/on-prem deployment.
Support strategy and innovation initiatives by defining AI use cases, performing feasibility studies, and presenting technical insights to stakeholders and leadership.
•Define and coordinate AI-relevant IT infrastructure requirements, including compute environments (GPU/CPU clusters), storage concepts, data governance, secure cloud/on-prem integration, and collaboration with IT to ensure scalable and compliant system architectures.
