About the Role:
We are a fast-growing professional services and financial advisory firm looking for a articulate, organized, and proactive Client Operations Specialist for a 2-month contractual role.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high client satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing incoming client emails, answering basic service queries, routing requests to internal team members, and providing proactive status updates over the phone.
The 2 months assignment is related to filing the Indian Income Tax Returns for High Net worth Individuals (HNIs) and Ultra HNIs. Opportunity to understand the end-to-end process of tax filing in India and get tax related insights as well.
This is a 100% inbound client management and operational role; NO sales or cold calling involved

Key Responsibilities:
- First-Line Email Management: Monitor the client communication inbox, acknowledge receipts promptly, and serve as the first responder to client inquiries.
- Query Routing: Analyze incoming client requests and effectively channel them to the respective technical and accounting team members.
- Client Status Updates: Proactively make phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding the real-time status of clients' tax filing requests and project milestones.
- Basic Problem Solving: Answer fundamental, non-technical queries regarding documentation requirements and submission timelines.
- Relationship Management: Ensure a professional, warm, and reassuring experience for clients during critical compliance periods.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: B.Com graduate, MBA, or equivalent degree in Business/Finance.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills. You should be highly comfortable speaking with corporate clients over the phone and drafting polished, error-free emails.
- Tax Knowledge: A basic, foundational understanding of Indian Tax Filings (Direct tax timelines, basic documentation like Form 16, PAN, etc) is required. (Note: In addition to managing communication, if curious you will be allowed to executing filings as well to gain training).
- Attributes: Highly organized, prompt, polite, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with standard email platforms (MS Outlook/Gmail) and basic office software.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Duration: 2 Months (Fixed Term)
- Shift: 10:00 AM to 7 PM
- Compensation: Competitive monthly stipend/salary commensurate with experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
