Screen Printing Manager
Department: Production – Printing
Reports To: GM/ Factory Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling all garment printing operations to ensure quality, productivity, timely delivery, and compliance with customer requirements. The role includes managing manpower, machines, materials, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor daily printing production as per the production schedule.
Ensure correct print placement, color matching, and print quality as per buyer specifications.
Coordinate with the Cutting, Sewing, Quality, and Merchandising departments to meet delivery timelines.
Monitor machine performance and arrange preventive maintenance.
Control ink, chemicals, screens, and other printing consumables to minimize wastage.
Train and guide printing operators and helpers on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Investigate and resolve printing defects such as shade variation, misprints, pinholes, smudging, and poor curing.
Ensure proper curing, washing, and durability standards are achieved.
Maintain production records, quality reports, and material consumption reports.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and factory quality standards.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of garment printing processes chemicals and inks.
Understanding of knitted fabric behavior during printing.
Production planning and manpower management.
Quality control and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of printing machines, curing equipment, and maintenance.
