We are hiring a Business Consultant to drive the Camunda 8 target architecture and manage migration delivery for in-scope processes. You will align client stakeholders and a third-party platform vendor on standards, quality measures, and cutover strategy to ensure consistent delivery. Apply now!
Responsibilities

Define and own the target Camunda 8 solution architecture for in-scope processes aligned to the Logical Data Model and ABAC/PBAC access control model
-
Drive and enforce Camunda engineering standards, quality metrics, and best practices across the Development POD
-
Execute complexity-tiered migration delivery across low, medium, and high complexity processes
-
Plan and validate the parallel-run and cutover strategy per process including routing, shared integration, and decommission triggers
-
Align with the third-party vendor responsible for Camunda platform and infrastructure setup to coordinate platform-layer and application-layer design
-
Validate integration points with existing REST APIs via the Integration Layer in coordination with the API team

Own the reference data migration approach for process definitions, DMN tables, forms, business dictionaries, and lookup tables

Unblock cross-team technical dependencies between the Development POD, Solution Architecture, and the Service Store

Support UAT technical validation and defect resolution and contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to BPM Admins and IT Operations

Contribute to backlog sizing and complexity assessment using defined criteria
Requirements

Broad track record delivering enterprise software and platform solutions
-
Practical experience with Camunda 8 components including Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist, and Connectors in enterprise settings

Strong people leadership skills with experience guiding technical delivery and cross-functional teams
-
Architecture ownership experience creating target solution architectures for BPM platforms
-
Advanced knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN/FEEL, and Camunda Forms

Working knowledge of Camunda deployment architecture (Orchestration Cluster, HA/Raft consensus, PostgreSQL secondary storage)
-
Direct experience integrating OIDC-based identity providers for Camunda (for example Microsoft Entra ID or Okta)

Proven success migrating legacy BPM platforms to Camunda using strangler or parallel-run cutover patterns

Good understanding of REST-based integration architectures and API-first collaboration models

Strong communication skills to lead technical reviews with client architecture boards
