Job Description
Managing day-to-day accounting operations using Tally Prime & Zoho Books, including petty cash management, reimbursement tracking, voucher preparation, inventory management, E-invoicing, and basic office administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Handle complete accounting in Tally Prime & Zoho Books thoroughly
- Maintain petty cash, expense records, and vouchers
- Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations
2. GST Compliance
- Calculate GST based on sales and purchases
- Generate E-way Bills for dispatches
- Prepare data for monthly GST return filing
3. E-Invoicing & Inventory Management
- Generate and manage E-invoices as per GST regulations
- Maintain and track inventory/stock records in the system
- Coordinate with sales and dispatch teams for accurate invoicing and stock updates
4. TDS & Professional Tax
- Calculate monthly TDS and Professional Tax (PT) liabilities
- Prepare documentation for returns filing
5. Income Tax
- Assist in computation of income tax and preparation of returns
6. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Supervise salary processing and attendance records
- Handle Provident Fund (PF) calculations, submissions, and returns
7. Payment & Vendor Management
- Follow up with customers and channel partners for timely collections
- Manage vendor payments and purchase transactions
- Coordinate with vendors for timely dispatch of materials
8. Compliance & Coordination
- Liaise with Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and consultants
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and adherence to compliance requirements
9. Financial Reporting
- Assist in finalization of accounts
- Prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
- Conduct periodic review and reconciliation of ledger accounts
Candidate Profile
- Commerce Graduate (B.Com); additional qualifications preferred
- 3+ years of experience in accounts, taxation, and inventory handling
- Mandatory hands-on expertise in Tally Prime & Zoho Books
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, PT compliance
- Experience with E-invoicing, E-way bill, and GST portal
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and returns filing
- Proficient in MS Excel & Word
- Good communication skills (written & verbal English)
- Smart, presentable, and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Preferably between 25–35 years
- Immediate joiners preferred / candidates with short notice period will be given priority
