We are looking for a skilled Bilingual Japanese Interpreter & Translator to join our team and support communication between Japanese and local stakeholders. If you have strong Japanese language proficiency and experience in interpretation, we’d love to hear from you!
- Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N2 or above.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Japanese interpretation and translation.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to actively participate in meetings, discussions, and conference calls with Japanese stakeholders.
- Capable of handling professional communication through emails and other business correspondence.
- Comfortable working in a Japanese business environment and collaborating closely with Japanese team members.
- Experience in interpretation is preferred over purely translation-focused experience.
- Prior experience in project coordination or stakeholder coordination roles.
- Exposure to IT projects, particularly involving business or functional requirements.
- Bilingual IT resources with understanding of functional specifications (Functional Specs/FRS).
- Ability to bridge communication between Japanese and local teams and facilitate smooth information exchange.
- SAP/ERP experience preferred
