Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive, ambitious, and results-oriented Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic relationships, and contribute to the company's expansion across Kerala.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and networking skills, enjoy meeting new clients, and be capable of generating sustainable business opportunities through direct engagement with developers, contractors, consultants, architects, industries, institutions, and corporate clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Build relationships with builders, architects, consultants, contractors, developers, industrial clients, hospitals, hotels, educational institutions, and commercial establishments.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into business opportunities.
Client Meetings & Market Expansion
- Conduct regular client meetings and project discussions.
- Identify upcoming construction projects and modernization opportunities.
- Promote AlfaFuji's products and services to prospective customers.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and industry meetings whenever required.
Sales Coordination
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate site surveys with the technical team.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and commercial quotations.
- Follow up with prospects until successful order closure.
- Coordinate closely with the Sales Manager and Operations Team throughout the sales cycle.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and channel partners.
- Ensure prompt response to customer enquiries and requests.
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused experience throughout the sales process.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Identify emerging opportunities for new products and services.
- Provide regular market feedback to management.
Collections & Documentation
- Support the collection of advance payments and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, quotations, and customer interactions.
- Update CRM and submit periodic business development reports.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales.
- Fresh graduates with exceptional communication and networking abilities may also apply.
- Experience in elevator sales, construction, MEP, HVAC, building materials, industrial equipment, engineering products, or real estate will be an added advantage.
Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-driven with a passion for business development.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala.
