AMPIN Energy Transition is seeking a dynamic Asset Management Head to lead operations across its 5 GW portfolio and pipeline of ISTS-connected utility-scale renewable assets. This role spans pan-India locations and includes solar, wind, floating solar, hybrid, and storage projects. The ideal candidate will oversee performance optimization, grid compliance, and lifecycle management of assets, ensuring seamless integration with the ISTS network. Strategic leadership, cross-functional coordination, and deep technical acumen will be key to driving AMPIN’s mission of accelerating India’s energy transition.
How you will contribute:
- Responsible for managing the renewable energy plants for Utility Business including local coordination with local government authorities/clients/vendors and also security of the plant;
- Oversee central O&M functions – Performance Monitoring, Compliance Management, Spares Management, Vendor payments for all sites;
- Timely monitoring and tracking of compliances for renewable energy plants, as applicable;
- Responsible for ensuring safety of people, material, equipment all operational plants;
- Responsible for SCADA overview and reporting on a continuous real-time basis;
- Responsible for preparation of daily generation, monthly generation and complete plant operations reports
- Responsible for central monitoring, performance of plant, invoice, raising, payment collection, revenue growth of company.
- Coordination with all the internal and external stakeholders related to plats – Engineering, performance, payment, OEM etc.
Ideal Skills for this role include:
- 15+ years’ experience in O&M of renewable energy plants
- Ability to problem solve both personnel issues and project issues
- Good record keeping and organizational skills
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast- paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to identify, collect and analyse the information needed to solve a problem effectively
