We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Incharge to oversee and manage our daily operations during their designated shift in Vizag. The Shift Incharge will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resource utilization, and leading a team of operators and technicians. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
- Oversee and manage all operational activities during the assigned shift, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control standards and specifications, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety checks and incident reporting.
- Allocate resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to optimize production output and minimize waste.
- Troubleshoot operational issues, equipment malfunctions, and process deviations, implementing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including production data, quality metrics, incidents, and personnel performance, for management review.
- Coordinate with other shift in-charges and departments (e.g., maintenance, quality, logistics) to ensure seamless transitions and integrated operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations for shift personnel and identify training needs to enhance team capabilities.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods within the shift.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the production area.
