· Purchasing, selling, repairing, maintenance and the daily work of machines and plants involved in construction of roads
· Should have experience of plants such as (Hot mix Plant, Batch Mix Plant, WMM Plant, Drum Mix Plant, paver )
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire mechanical department for road/highway construction projects.
- Oversee procurement, deployment, operation, maintenance, and repair of all construction plants and machinery.
- Ensure smooth daily operation of construction equipment including:
- Hot Mix Plant
- Batch Mix Plant
- WMM Plant
- Drum Mix Plant
- Asphalt Paver
- Tippers and other road construction machinery
- Plan and implement preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Monitor machinery performance, fuel consumption, spares usage, and maintenance costs.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and site teams to ensure timely availability of equipment.
- Handle purchase, sale, hiring, and disposal of machinery and spare parts.
- Maintain compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations related to mechanical operations.
- Prepare and review mechanical reports, budgets, and MIS for management.
- Lead, train, and supervise the mechanical team including engineers, supervisors, operators, and mechanics.
- Support project execution by ensuring equipment readiness as per construction schedules.
Pay: Up to ₹250,000.00 per month
