Position-Head – Analytical & Wet Lab (Complex Excipients & Bulk Drug Division)
Location: Mahape, Navi Mumbai
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Analytical & Instrumentation professional to lead our Analytical & Wet Lab function for Complex Excipients and Bulk Drugs. The role will be responsible for driving analytical excellence, product characterization, method development, innovation, regulatory compliance, and supporting new product development initiatives to strengthen our R&D capabilities and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Analytical and Wet Lab teams and manage multiple R&D projects.
- Drive innovation in complex excipients, APIs, and specialty pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Oversee analytical method development, validation, characterization studies, and technology transfer.
- Lead product development, compatibility studies, scale-up, and process optimization activities.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, ICH, ISO, and data integrity requirements.
- Support audits, regulatory inspections, and customer technical discussions.
- Mentor scientific teams and collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Production, and Business Development functions.
Technical Expertise
- HPLC, UPLC, GC, LC-MS, ICP-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, Particle Size Analysis, Thermal Analysis, and Rheology.
- Method Development & Validation, Stability Studies, Technology Transfer.
- Excipient Characterization, API-Excipient Compatibility Studies, and QbD principles.
- Regulatory Compliance, GLP, GMP, ICH, and Data Integrity.
Candidate Profile
- Ph.D./M.Pharm/M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Industrial Chemistry, or related fields.
- 3–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical excipients, APIs, specialty chemicals, or allied industries.
- Proven leadership experience in analytical laboratories and wet-lab research functions.
- Strong background in product characterization, analytical development, and innovation.
A strategic R&D leader with strong analytical and formulation research expertise, capable of transforming scientific innovation into commercially viable pharmaceutical products.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
