Job description: We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users onsite or remotely.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Support and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise applications.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and security tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Log and track service requests and incidents using the IT ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes (device setup, account creation, access permissions).
- Collaborate with other IT staff to implement system upgrades, patches, and new technologies.
- Create and maintain user guides, documentation, and IT procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data security standards.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop).
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Customer-oriented with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management tools.
