Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and result-oriented Business Development Managers (Projects) to drive project sales and business growth within the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate should have experience in project sales and relationship management within the architecture and interior design ecosystem. The role involves generating new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, developers, dealers, and distributors, while ensuring consistent growth in project business.
The candidate should possess excellent networking, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills along with a strong passion for field sales and customer relationship management.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
· Identify and generate new business opportunities through project sales.
· Develop and execute business development strategies within the assigned territory.
· Identify upcoming residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional projects.
· Build and maintain a healthy project sales pipeline.
· Convert business opportunities into confirmed orders.
Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with:
o Architects
o Interior Designers
o Builders & Developers
o Contractors
o Project Management Consultants (PMCs)
o Corporate Clients
o Institutional Clients
· Conduct regular client meetings and follow-ups.
· Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales lifecycle.
· Strengthen existing customer relationships to generate repeat business.
Project Sales
· Promote Surfex products through client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and sampling.
· Understand client requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
· Coordinate with the internal sales and operations teams for quotations, order processing, deliveries, and customer support.
· Track projects from specification stage until execution and order closure.
Channel Development
· Develop and strengthen the dealer and distributor network.
· Identify potential channel partners within the assigned territory.
· Build strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors.
· Support channel partners in business development activities and product awareness.
Market Development
· Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
· Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product offerings, and market trends.
· Gather market intelligence and share valuable insights with the management team.
· Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, seminars, and industry forums whenever required.
Sales Administration
· Maintain accurate customer records and project details.
· Update CRM and sales reports on a regular basis.
· Prepare daily visit reports and follow-up plans.
· Coordinate internally to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
· Support collection follow-ups wherever applicable.

Educational Qualification
