Objective The Frontline Sales Executive – Direct Channel (Defence) is responsible for driving individual sales performance through customer acquisition, relationship management, and revenue generation within the Defence ecosystem. The role focuses on achieving assigned sales targets, delivering superior customer experience, and contributing to overall branch and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Growth Achieve assigned individual sales, premium, and revenue targets Drive customer acquisition through field sales, references, and networking Promote cross-selling and upselling of insurance and financial products Ensure high persistency and renewal of existing policies Build and manage a strong sales pipeline for consistent business delivery Identify opportunities within Defence establishments and surrounding markets Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with Defence personnel and customers Understand customer financial needs and recommend suitable solutions Provide end-to-end customer support from lead generation to policy issuance Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality Handle customer queries, objections, and post-sales service effectively Business Development & Market Presence Conduct field visits, activities, and local campaigns for lead generation Leverage referrals and networking to expand customer base Build presence within Defence units and nearby catchment areas Stay updated on market trends, competition, and customer behavior Operations & Compliance Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of proposals Adhere to company policies, sales processes, and regulatory guidelines Maintain proper records of sales activities and customer interactions Ensure smooth coordination with operations for policy issuance Performance & Productivity Meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales targets Track personal productivity and conversion ratios Continuously upgrade product knowledge and sales skills Participate in training and development programs Required Skills & Competencies Strong sales and persuasion skills Excellent communication and interpersonal ability Customer-centric approach with relationship-building skills High energy, self-motivation, and result orientation Ability to work in a target-driven environment Basic understanding of insurance / financial products (preferred) Qualification & Experience Graduate (MBA preferred for senior roles) 0–10 years of experience in Sales / BFSI / Insurance Experience in Direct Channel / Field Sales preferred Prior experience in handling Defence customers is an advantage Proven track record of achieving sales targets (for experienced candidates) Compensation CTC Range: ₹3 LPA – ₹8.6 LPA (Based on designation & experience) Additional Requirements Willingness to travel locally for field sales activities Comfortable working in a highly target-driven environment Strong focus on customer acquisition and revenue generation Flexibility to work across different Defence locations and markets
Pay: ₹331,541.73 - ₹1,287,712.88 per year
