Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer requirements, presenting suitable solutions, and managing the complete sales cycle. The role requires excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, cold calling, and lead generation activities.
- Qualify prospective clients and schedule meetings to understand their business and technical requirements.
- Conduct client meetings and provide consultative solutions based on customer needs and pain points.
- Deliver engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and solution proposals to prospective clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve assigned business targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and post-sales follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and stakeholders.
- Provide product guidance, user support, and training to customers and channel partners as required.
- Assist customers during product implementation and installation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing customers.
- Coordinate with technical and support teams to ensure timely resolution of customer queries during the pre-sales process.
- Keep up to date with new products, features, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, and business meetings to generate leads.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities, and provide regular reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and business processes.
- Contribute to team success by sharing best practices and supporting collaborative initiatives.
- Perform any additional sales or marketing responsibilities assigned by the management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Consultative Sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Excellent relationship management and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities when required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Knowledge of IT products, software solutions, or technology sales is an advantage.
- Strong networking and lead generation capabilities.
