Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated OT Nurse to join our healthcare team in Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of experience in Operation Theatre (OT) nursing and be willing to work in rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and doctors during surgical procedures.
- Prepare the Operation Theatre before surgeries and ensure all required equipment and instruments are available.
- Assist in maintaining a sterile and infection-free OT environment.
- Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and surgical procedures as required.
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments.
- Monitor and maintain OT equipment and supplies.
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning before surgery.
- Monitor patients and support the surgical team during procedures.
- Follow strict infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate OT records and documentation.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Ensure proper handover of patients to the recovery area after surgery.
- Maintain adequate stock of surgical supplies and inform the concerned team about shortages.
Candidate Requirements
- B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience as an OT Nurse.
- Previous experience in a hospital Operation Theatre is preferred.
- Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
- Good knowledge of surgical procedures, sterilization, and infection control practices.
- Ability to work effectively in rotational shifts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
