About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup solutions, and network services. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience in server administration, security, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
- Administer VMware/Hyper-V virtualization environments.
- Monitor server health, system performance, storage, and network availability.
- Perform regular server patching, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions and ensure successful restoration when required.
- Configure and maintain RAID, storage systems, and server hardware.
- Troubleshoot server, OS, hardware, storage, and network-related issues.
- Implement server hardening and security best practices.
- Configure and maintain web servers such as IIS and Apache/Tomcat.
- Monitor system logs and generate health and performance reports.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware support and issue resolution.
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and infrastructure diagrams.
- Provide technical support during critical incidents and planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure infrastructure availability, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Windows Server and Linux Administration.
- Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File Services.
- Knowledge of RAID, Storage, SAN/NAS, and Backup Solutions.
- Experience with IIS, Apache, or Tomcat web servers.
- Familiarity with scripting using PowerShell or Bash.
- Experience with server monitoring and performance tuning tools.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
