Job Summary
Asahi India Glass Ltd. (AIS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics & Dispatch Executive to join our growing Supply Chain team in Nashik. The role involves planning and executing customer dispatches, coordinating with internal departments, managing transportation activities, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining accurate documentation and system records.
Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Dispatch Operations
- Plan and execute daily customer dispatch schedules.
- Coordinate with PPC (Production Planning & Control) and Stores teams to ensure material availability.
- Arrange transportation and monitor vehicle movement for timely deliveries.
- Track dispatch status and ensure adherence to delivery commitments.
Documentation & System Management
- Generate and manage E-Way Bills as per statutory requirements.
- Maintain dispatch records and update ERP/Oracle systems accurately.
- Ensure proper documentation for shipments and deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain dispatch-related reports and MIS data.
Transporter Coordination
- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and shipment planning.
- Track Proof of Delivery (POD) and maintain delivery records.
- Resolve transportation and delivery-related issues promptly.
- Build effective relationships with logistics partners.
Required Qualifications
- Any Diploma qualification preferred.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- 1–2 years of experience in Logistics, Dispatch, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of logistics operations and dispatch planning.
- Experience in E-Way Bill generation and dispatch documentation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with ERP/Oracle systems is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi is mandatory.
