FinBox is looking for a seasoned legal professional to lead its legal function across commercial contracting, regulatory advisory, litigation management, and legal operations. This is a high-ownership role with the opportunity to shape legal strategy and build scalable processes as the company grows.

Own drafting, review, and negotiation of customer and vendor contracts (SaaS agreements, MSAs, NDAs, API licensing, etc.).

Manage receivables litigation and coordinate with external counsel.

Advise leadership on regulatory matters, including RBI guidelines, DPDP Act, and lending-related regulations.

Build legal playbooks, templates, and approval workflows to improve efficiency.

Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, and Leadership teams on commercial and strategic matters.

Mentor junior legal team members and manage external law firms.

10-15 years of post-qualification experience (LLB/LLM).

Strong experience in commercial contracting and legal advisory.

Prior exposure to fintech, B2B SaaS, or financial services.

Working knowledge of RBI regulations, DPDP Act, and litigation processes.

Ability to simplify legal risks into practical business decisions.

Experience in startups or high-growth environments is preferred.
