We are looking for a Presales Solution Architect with strong expertise in AWS Cloud Infrastructure to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing scalable AWS solutions, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting the sales team throughout the presales cycle.
- Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions based on customer requirements.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and understand customer business and infrastructure needs.
- Prepare solution architecture, BoM, SoW, effort estimates, and technical proposals.
- Work on AWS pricing, TCO analysis, cost optimization, and commercial solutioning.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, PoCs, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies for enterprise workloads.
- Collaborate with AWS teams, Sales, Delivery, and Engineering teams to develop effective solutions.
- Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and technical presentations.
- Engage with key stakeholders and confidently communicate technical solutions.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with AWS Well-Architected Framework and security best practices.
- 2–3 years of experience in AWS Presales, Solution Architecture, Cloud Consulting, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront, etc.
- Good understanding of Networking, Compute, Storage, Security, and Cloud Migration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Pricing Calculator, BoM, TCO, and cost estimation.
- Experience preparing SoW, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and architecture diagrams.
- Strong customer-facing, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Sales, Technical, and Delivery teams.
- AWS Certification(s) such as AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.
- Experience with enterprise cloud migration or modernization projects.
Knowledge of AWS funding programs and cloud commercial models.
