Job Summary
We are looking for a skilledSAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) Consultant with hands-on experience indata migration projects, preferably inSAP S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate should have strong ETL development experience, data quality handling, and exposure to migration tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implementETL jobs using SAP BODS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Work onend-to-end data migration lifecycle including:
- Data extraction from legacy systems
- Data cleansing and transformation
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Data loading into SAP systems (ECC/S4HANA)
- Develop and optimizeBODS jobs, workflows, and data flows.
- Performdata profiling, data quality checks, and error handling.
- Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, etc.) to understand data migration requirements.
- Ensuredata integrity, consistency, and completeness during migration.
- Supportmock loads, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize ETL jobs.
- Prepare technical documentation and migration reports.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience inSAP BODS / SAP Data Services.
- Good experience inData Migration projects (min. 1?2 projects preferred).
- Expertise in:
- Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Data cleansing and validation techniques
- Knowledge ofSAP tables and data structures (any module like SD/MM/FI is a plus).
- Strong SQL skills and database knowledge (HANA/Oracle/SQL Server).
- Experience in handling large datasets and performance tuning.
- Exposure toS/4HANA migration is preferred.
Good to Have
- Experience withLTMC / LTMOM / Migration Cockpit.
- Knowledge ofIDocs, LSMW, or other data migration tools.
- Exposure todata governance and data quality tools.
- Basic understanding ofABAP debugging.
