Job Overview
Spectrum Solar Power is looking for a Business Development Engineer to support the growth of solar energy projects in Thrissur and nearby areas. The role involves identifying potential customers, promoting solar power solutions, and assisting in developing new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar power solutions
- Meet residential and commercial customers to explain solar energy systems
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, and references
- Prepare basic proposals and assist customers with system requirements
- Coordinate with technical and installation teams for project execution
- Maintain records of leads, customer meetings, and sales activities
- Support the achievement of monthly sales targets
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering
- 1–3 years experience in sales, business development, or technical sales
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems or electrical products is an advantage
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and site visits
Salary & Benefits
- ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month + incentives
- Travel allowance for field visits
