What you will do-
- Prepares and maintains detailed design drawings, schematics or specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software (preferably Creo).

Creates, modifies and controls detailed two- and three-dimensional parts and assembly drawings from engineers' sketches, plans and written and verbal instructions.

Generate manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.

Works closely with design originators (e.g., engineers, designers) to resolve design details or discrepancies.

Develops and maintains drafting standards and procedures; Transfer and translate drawings from one computer system to another as needed.

Will provide CAD training to others and execute routing design projects, to include stack up analysis, part design, and related tasks.

Apply GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and fit requirements Prepare engineering change notices (ECN/ECO) and revision updates

Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, specifications, BOMs, and design records and ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.

Support prototype development and design validation; cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will need-
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent; 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.

Experience- 5 years- 7 years
-
Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and mechanical design principles.

Experience designing both plastic and metal components and proficient in CAD tools : Creo Parametric
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill and Teamcenter.

Knowledge of product lifecycle management and configuration control.

Exposure to consumer electronics, medical devices, industrial equipment, automotive, or aerospace products.
