- Create and modify sheet metal component designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD based on project requirements.
- Develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings including flat patterns, bending details, and assembly drawings.
- Apply knowledge of sheet metal processes such as bending, punching, laser cutting, and welding.
- Ensure proper tolerance, GD&T, and surface finish specifications in design outputs.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and detailed documentation.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and material utilization.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Perform design revisions and updates based on feedback from internal teams or clients.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and industry practices.
- Support prototype development and testing activities when required.
