About the Role
KadModa is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Merchandiser to support our merchandising team in managing customer orders from development through production and dispatch. The ideal candidate will coordinate with buyers, suppliers, production, sampling, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely execution while maintaining quality and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with buyers to understand product specifications, timelines, and order requirements.
- Assist in managing the complete order lifecycle from development sampling to final shipment.
- Follow up on development samples, fit samples, production samples, and approvals.
- Prepare and maintain order trackers, Time & Action (T&A) calendars, and merchandising reports.
- Coordinate with fabric and trim suppliers to monitor procurement timelines.
- Work closely with production planning to ensure materials and approvals are available before production.
- Monitor production progress and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of costing sheets, purchase orders, and production documentation.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure products meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of tech packs, approvals, size specifications, colorways, and customer communications.
- Assist with packing list coordination and shipment documentation alongside the logistics team.
- Escalate production risks, delays, or material shortages promptly to senior management.
- Ensure all merchandising documents are organized, updated, and easily accessible.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in garment merchandising, apparel manufacturing, or textile operations.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, and email communication.
- Basic understanding of garment manufacturing processes and apparel terminology.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of tech packs, garment construction, fabrics, trims, and sampling processes.
- Familiarity with Time & Action calendars and order tracking.
- Experience using ERP systems or inventory management software is an advantage.
- Understanding of export merchandising and international buyer requirements is preferred.
