Job Summary
Responsible for Wet Process equipment maintenance including texturing, cleaning, etching, and edge isolation, from Greenfield to ramp-up and stable operations. Ensures mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, pump, motor, drive, and automation systems operate reliably and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Greenfield / Ramp-up:
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and acceptance of Wet Line tools.
- Define PM schedules, SOPs, spares, and safety standards.
- Set up mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensors, motors, pumps, drives, and automation components for new tools.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
- Train team on chemical safety, sensors, pumps, and motors operation.
- Running Plant (Steady-State Operations):
- Ensure uptime, reliability, and yield for Wet Line equipment.
- Troubleshoot pumps, dosing systems, heaters, dryers, valves, motors, drives, sensors, and automation controls.
- Implement IoT/digital predictive monitoring for chemical baths, pumps, and motors.
- Collaborate with EHS for chemical safety, waste disposal, and compliance.
- Optimize spares and vendor management for critical components.
- Lead and mentor 10–12 engineers/technicians.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics.
- 10–14 years’ experience in Wet Line equipment maintenance in solar/semiconductor.
- Hands-on experience with motors, pumps, sensors, pneumatics, drives, and PLCs.
