Annual Day Director
Location: Sion, Mumbai
Type: Contractual / Fixed-Term Project Role
Duration: 1st July 2026 to 8th August 2026
Remuneration: ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 per month (negotiable)
About the Role
Gyansthan Education Services is looking for a creative and dynamic Annual Day Director to conceptualize, plan, and execute a school's Annual Day production. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth artistic and operational execution of the event while working closely with students, school representatives, and the Gyansthan team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and direct the Annual Day production.
- Develop and write scripts in alignment with the theme and requirements of the school.
- Conduct rehearsals and train students for performances.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of stage direction and performance execution.
- Plan and supervise stage movements, blocking, and overall production flow.
- Oversee lighting and sound requirements to ensure seamless execution during rehearsals and the final performance.
Work Schedule
- Days to Visit: 6 days a week (frequency will be discussed in the interview)
- Start Date: 30th June 2026
- Timings: 3 to 4 hours (between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in theatre, drama direction, event production, or Annual Day direction.
- Strong scriptwriting and creative conceptualisation skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to work with students across different age groups.
