Role Description This is an Internship, on-site Backend Developer / API Developer (.NET 8)/ .NET 10 role based - Remotely. The Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET 8/ .NET 10, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability for BONC Network’s platform. Responsibilities include implementing object-oriented designs, integrating third-party services, optimizing database queries, and troubleshooting backend issues across development and production environments. The role involves close collaboration with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver new features iteratively. The developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices for testing, deployment, and continuous integration.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, with hands-on experience building APIs and services using .NET 8 or recent .NET versions e.g .NET 10.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Programming fundamentals, including clean code practices, design patterns, and debugging.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Front-End Development to collaborate effectively with UI engineers and ensure smooth API integration.
- Experience with RESTful API design, authentication/authorization (e.g., JWT, OAuth), and integration with third-party APIs.
- Good Knowledge with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with ORMs such as Entity Framework.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced product environment.
- Work with the leads on (e.g., Digital Ocean, Contabo, Azure, AWS) and scalable architectures (microservices, messaging queues) is a plus.
- Support in Deployment and manage applications on Windows Server 2022 with IIS 10
- Capable to understand and optimizing Media files using Cloudflare R2 / Cloudinary
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience - 0 to 1 Years
- Good Knowledge and hands-On exposure on .NET 8, .NET 10 Web API
- Solid expertise in MS SQL Server 2022 (T-SQL, indexing, performance tuning)
- Experience hosting applications on IIS 10
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of API versioning, logging, and exception handling
- Experience in optimizing Media files using Cloudflare R2 / Cloudinary
- Server-side output fully-formed HTML plus JSON-LD structure for GEO
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Docker / containerization on Windows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
