Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong SAP testing experience to join our team. In this role, you will design and execute manual and automated test cases across SAP systems and web applications, build and maintain robust automation suites, and help integrate modern AI-driven and agentic testing approaches into our QA practice. You will work closely with cross-functional agile teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for SAP and web-based applications.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and WebdriverIO.
- Perform SAP-specific testing across modules such as QM and S/4HANA.
- Integrate and maintain tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and version control systems (Git).
- Explore and apply AI-driven testing approaches, including AI-assisted test generation and defect prediction.
- Work with agentic automation frameworks such as Playwright and WDIO to expand test coverage.
- Create and manage test cases using AI tools integrated with JIRA (MCP).
- Conduct load and performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA peers in an agile environment.
- Track, document, and report defects clearly, with strong attention to detail.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of QA experience, ideally within SAP environments.
Testing Fundamentals
- Proven experience writing and executing manual test cases, with strong attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of automation concepts, with hands-on expertise in Selenium (WebDriver) and WebdriverIO for building and maintaining automated test suites.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as TestNG, JUnit, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and test reporting frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
SAP Knowledge
- Exposure to SAP-specific testing, including QM and S/4HANA modules.
Modern & Emerging Tooling
- Exposure to automation testing via agentic development frameworks such as Playwright and WDIO.
- Experience creating test cases using AI tools integrated with JIRA (MCP).
- Familiarity with AI applications in testing, such as AI-driven test generation or defect prediction, and awareness of emerging industry trends.
- Exposure to load testing tools such as JMeter or equivalents.
Soft SkillsS
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of JavaScript for scripting and enhancing test automation.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
