Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – HR Operations is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, HR documentation, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, HRIS management, and policy implementation. The role ensures efficient HR service delivery, process compliance, accurate employee records, and seamless execution of all HR operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
- Coordinate employee joining formalities, induction, documentation, and HR orientation.
- Prepare and issue appointment letters, confirmation letters, promotion letters, transfer letters, increment letters, warning letters, experience letters, relieving letters, and other HR documents.
- Maintain employee master data, personnel files, HRIS records, and digital documentation.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, attendance, leave records, incentives, reimbursements, and Full & Final Settlement.
- Ensure timely updating of employee records and HR databases.
- Administer leave management, attendance management, and employee records.
- Handle employee confirmation, probation reviews, and contract renewals.
- Manage employee separation processes including resignation acceptance, clearance, exit interviews, and relieving formalities.
- Coordinate background verification and document verification of new employees.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, SOPs, and internal processes.
- Support performance appraisal, goal-setting, and annual increment processes.
- Prepare monthly HR MIS, manpower reports, attrition reports, headcount reports, and management dashboards.
- Coordinate statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, Gratuity, Bonus, and applicable labour laws.
- Liaise with payroll consultants, auditors, and statutory authorities for HR compliance.
- Maintain statutory registers and support internal and external audits.
- Resolve employee queries related to payroll, attendance, leave, benefits, and HR policies.
- Support employee engagement activities, HR initiatives, and organizational development programs.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
- Continuously improve HR processes through automation, standardization, and best practices.
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Graduate in any discipline.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in HR Operations.
- Experience in FinTech, Banking, NBFC, BFSI, or corporate organizations is preferred.
