Job Summary:
As a Dance Teacher at Tagore Public School Gurugram, you will be responsible for teaching various dance forms, nurturing students' creative expression, and preparing them for school events and competitions. The role requires fostering an engaging and inclusive environment while promoting physical fitness and cultural awareness through dance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver structured dance lessons that cater to students of varying skill levels.
- Teach different dance styles (e.g., classical, contemporary, folk, etc.) based on the curriculum.
- Organize and direct dance performances for school events, cultural programs, and competitions.
- Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during dance sessions.
- Encourage teamwork and collaboration among students through group choreography.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate dance into interdisciplinary school activities.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in dance and incorporate them into lesson plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Dance or related field.
- Proven experience as a Dance Teacher in a school or educational institution.
- Proficiency in various dance styles (Classical, Contemporary, Folk, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about nurturing students' artistic and physical development.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in a positive and supportive environment.
- Familiarity with child development and learning styles.
- Ability to organize and direct dance performances.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,592.20 per month
