Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹24,000 Gross per month (depending on experience) + Overtime (OT) Pay
Role of the Position-
The ideal candidate will be an adaptable technician who can work both independently from blueprints and under direct supervision to ensure minimal downtime and maximum safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Process Welding: Perform high-quality welding tasks using multiple techniques, including TIG, MIG, ARC, and Laser welding, based on job requirements.
- Material Handling: Work efficiently with a diverse range of metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, carbon steel, and heavy structural alloys.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair worn, broken, or defective metal components, machinery, and structures.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and layout sketches to plan and execute tasks independently when required.
- Preparation & Finishing: Clean, grind, cut, and prep metal surfaces before welding; perform post-weld inspections and finishing.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Compulsory ITI Certificate in Welding / Welder trade.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in welding, preferably in a maintenance, repair, or engineering service environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency across all major welding types (TIG, MIG, ARC). Experience or familiarity with Laser welding is a strong plus.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently with blueprints or follow direct supervisor instructions as the task demands.
- Physical Fitness: Capability to handle the physical demands of maintenance work, including lifting components and adapting to various working postures.
Shift Details & Work Environment
- Primary Shift: Standard Day Shift- !0 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday, wo- Sunday
- Flexibility: Must be willing to work rotational shifts or extended hours/night shifts in case of emergencies or urgent service requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹24,000 gross per month (negotiable based on skill and interview performance).
- Overtime (OT) Pay: Extra compensation provided for hours worked beyond the standard shift.
- Transport: The company will provide a transport allowance as per company policy.
