Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Quality Engineer with experience in API testing, test automation, ETL validation, data quality assurance, and data governance. Responsible for ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and compliance across enterprise data platforms through automated testing, data validation, and governance controls.
Key Responsibilities
Perform API functional, integration, regression, and automation testing.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or Python.
Validate ETL/ELT workflows, source-to-target mappings, and data transformations.
Execute SQL-based data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Ensure data completeness, accuracy, integrity, and business rule compliance.
Support automated test execution through CI/CD pipelines.
Validate metadata, data lineage, business glossary, and governance controls.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation.
Support governance initiatives using tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, or Informatica EDC.
