Digital Innovation and Post Harvest Fishery Literacy project-based position will be the key implementers of the project at the village and district level, focusing on delivering digital training and support to fisherwomen, to help them adopt and use mobile apps and kiosks for improved market access and livelihoods.
Key Responsibilites

Carry out daily project activities across assigned clusters, delivering digital literacy sessions and hands-on training to fisherwomen on using mobile devices and the Fisherwomen Connect app.

Provide direct support to onboard fisherwomen onto the project’s mobile application and other ICT tools. Guide participants in using digital services (e.g., digital payments, market information apps) confidently.

Be the go-to resource for any questions or technical issues that fisherwomen encounter with the project’s mobile app or ICT kiosks, ensuring continuous usage and troubleshooting problems.

Data documentation and reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of training sessions, participant progress, and user feedback. Contribute to monitoring & evaluation by collecting required field data and success stories on women’s digital adoption. · Community engagement: Work with Field Coordinators and local peer leaders (e.g., digital champions) to encourage women’s ongoing participation in project activities and ensure the content is accessible in local languages and contexts.

Skills: Solid digital skills (comfortable using smartphones, apps, basic troubleshooting). Training and facilitation abilities – capable of conducting workshops and one-on-one support sessions for new smartphone users. Good communication skills in local languages (e.g. Tamil, Telugu, etc.) to effectively engage with rural women participants. Strong record-keeping and basic data entry skills
Qualification:

Masters in Information Technology, Social Sciences, Fisheries, Education, or other relevant disciplines. Candidates with a Master’s degree in development studies, social work, or similar fields are encouraged to apply.
Experience:

Experience Experience: 2–3 year’s experience in field project implementation or training roles. Experience with digital literacy programs or ICT projects in rural areas is a strong plus.
