Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled HVAC Draftsman to prepare accurate and detailed HVAC drawings for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The candidate should have good knowledge of HVAC drafting, MEP coordination, and AutoCAD, with the ability to work closely with HVAC engineers and other MEP disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed HVAC design and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop HVAC layouts including ducting, piping, equipment, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
- Prepare plans, sections, elevations, details, and schematic drawings as required.
- Develop duct routing, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, and ventilation layouts.
- Prepare HVAC equipment layouts and coordinate equipment locations.
- Coordinate HVAC drawings with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Architectural drawings.
- Identify and resolve clashes during MEP coordination.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on site requirements and approved changes.
- Revise drawings based on comments from engineers, consultants, clients, and site teams.
- Maintain drawing standards, layer management, drawing numbering, and revision control.
- Support engineers in preparing BOQ, quantity take-off, and material schedules when required.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to ensure drawings are practical and accurate.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable MEP standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and MEP drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of ducting, piping, ventilation, and HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good knowledge of MEP coordination and clash identification.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, MEP Drafting, or a related field.
- Relevant HVAC/MEP drafting experience will be considered.
Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in HVAC drafting, preferably with an MEP consultancy, contractor, or building services organization.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, hospital, hotel, or high-rise building projects.
- Practical knowledge of HVAC design drawings and MEP coordination.
- Experience in preparing drawings from design stage through construction/as-built stage.

Salary: As per company policy and candidate's experience & knowledge.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
